Royal Poinciana - Original Watercolor

Study of the flowers, leaves, and seed pod of Delonix regia, also known as the Royal Poinciana tree. This flowering tree is native to Madagascar, but has been naturalized in many tropical and subtropical parts of the world. I based this painting off of the tree in my front yard in Florida.

Original watercolor painting on 140lb hot press paper. Signed by me. This painting is matted to a standard size and ready to be framed.
