This print features twenty-five watercolor illustrations of species and cultivars from the Ficus genus. Ranging from enormous banyans and edible fig trees to small trailing vines, Ficus is a large and diverse genus, and many varieties are cultivated as houseplants. Each variety featured on the print was originally painted in watercolor, using plants in my own collection as well as photos of plants I’ve seen growing here in Florida as my primary sources of reference.
