Bigleaf Magnolia Print

Watercolor study of Magnolia macrophylla, commonly known as Bigleaf Magnolia. This species has a very narrow native range in the southeastern U.S., with isolated populations found in Appalachia as far north as Ohio. Aaron did this watercolor painting based on a specimen his dad is growing on his property in Southern Ohio.

• Printed on heavy weight 300gsm 100% cotton paper. I selected this paper for its similar look and feel to the cotton hot press watercolor paper I paint on. 
• Printed using pigment based archival inks in my home studio in Southwest Florida.
• I hand sign each print with a graphite pencil. My signature is inconspicuous and can be found just below the painting.

• Ships flat in a protective sleeve, on an acid-free backing board.
