Watercolor study of a flowering Nepenthes rafflesiana plant. Also known as Raffles' pitcher plant, this carnivorous plant captures bugs in its pitcher traps, where they eventually break down and provide nutrients for the plant. Painted from observation of one of my own plants.
High quality print of an original watercolor painting on matte fine art paper. Signed by the artist. Unframed, ships flat in a protective sleeve with backing board.
